HHV Professional

Many third tier suppliers to the aerospace industry balk at investing in latest generation machining centers due to concerns about return on investment. The HHV Professional solves this problem - producing the vast majority of extrusion mill parts demanded by your customers and enabling them to bid lower contract prices yet increase their margins. The two-chuck HHV Professional extrusion mill will help protect your customer’s competitive place in a market characterized by price compression and intense competition. Accommodating aluminum and carbon fiber parts, the HHV Professional delivers high productivity, extraordinary precision and repeatability yet occupies a surprisingly small footprint.

Compared to the HHV ExtrusionMill, the HHV professional has fewer options, 2 rotary chucks instead of three and more simple control system. The HHV Professional will manage the same parts as the ExtrusionMill except for heavier profiles such as stringers. In these cases, a third rotary table is needed for better support.

  • Raw material extrusions are loaded from the right side in to the machine.
  • The right rotary table reaches and holds the profile and pulls it through the machine.
  • Machining is made by moving XYZ (spindle) unit between the rotary chucks or holding the spindle in one location and pushing the material back and forth with the right rotary chuck.
